💬 Instructions before use:

  • How to open the pot (moisten the pot) for the first time:

    1. First clean the pot with a brown brush, then heat it over medium heat to dry out the water in the pot and turn off the heat.
    2. Wait for the pan to cool until it is not hot to the touch.
    3. Add about half a tea cup of cooking oil and spread evenly around the pan, wiping the edges to ensure even coverage.
    4. Turn on low heat again, heat for about 3-4 minutes, then turn off the heat.
    5. Let the oil cool slightly, then pour the oil back into the container, and the boiling (wetting) process is complete.
    6. If using an induction cooker, start with low heat and gradually increase the temperature to avoid uneven bottom temperatures.

  • Please preheat the pan and add appropriate amount of oil before each use to prevent food from sticking.

  • When you see the oil starting to texture inside the pan, it's ready for cooking.

  • After cooking, transfer food to a plate and avoid storing food in the cast iron pan for extended periods of time.

💡 Notes:

  1. After use, while the pot is still hot, clean the pot with a brown brush. If the pot is burnt, soak it before cleaning.
  2. It is not recommended to use detergent frequently to avoid cleaning the grease in the pores of the pot. Use a detergent with natural ingredients.
  3. After cleaning, make sure the pot is completely dry to avoid rust caused by prolonged moisture.
  4. If there is rust, scrub it with a brown brush or steel wool, then reheat and add oil for maintenance.
  5. You can use a shovel, but choose a shovel with an arc angle to avoid damaging the pot body.
